The W-132c Cartridge is the original spare rotor unit for the Waldent Spectra Standard airotor. Built around a precision-balanced spindle, ceramic ball bearings and a push-button chuck, it is the wear component that delivers the airotor's cutting speed, torque and bur grip. When a Spectra airotor loses power, develops noise or vibration, or the chuck stops retaining burs — this cartridge is the replacement part. Fully autoclavable up to 135°C, it installs in minutes with the airotor's original key and restores the handpiece to factory performance without needing a full airotor replacement.

Directions to Use:

Preparation:

• Isolate the airotor from the chair coupling and depressurise the air line
• Clean and dry the airotor head housing
• Keep the airotor key/spanner (supplied with your original Spectra) ready

Operation:

• Open the head cap using the airotor key
• Remove the used cartridge from the head housing
• Seat the new W-132c cartridge into the housing — do not force
• Refit and hand-tighten the head cap with the key; avoid over-torquing
• Run the handpiece at low speed for 10–15 seconds to verify smooth rotation and water spray
• Insert a bur and check chuck retention before clinical use

Post-Use Care:

• Clean bur-shank residue from the chuck after every procedure
• Lubricate the cartridge with handpiece oil before every autoclave cycle
• Autoclave at 121–135°C and allow full cool-down before reuse
• Replace the cartridge when unusual noise, vibration or chuck slip appears
