Waldent Endo X UltraSonic Activator utilizes ultrasonic irrigation technology for the deep irrigation of root canals. It causes activation of irrigating solution and promotes deep cleaning and disinfection into lateral canals, fins, webs and anastomoses which facilitates 3D obturation and long-term success.
Endo X Ultrasonic Activator works at 40kHz ultrasonic frequencies which utilize the principle of acoustic microstreaming, agitation, and cavitation to reach difficult to instrument areas of the complex root canal system.
The device comes with 3 tips (1 Silver, 1 Blue, 1 Gold).
Gold: Super-powerful titanium tip for retrieval of instruments separated in the canal. Blue: Bendable tip for activation of irrigants in curved root canals & removal of GP during re-treatment.
Silver: Soft & flexible tip for activation of irrigants in challenging curved canals.
INDICATIONS:
Smear Layer Removal: Effective in the removal of smear layer and unplugging of dentinal tubules
Dentin Chips Removal: Ultrasonic agitation forms a suspension of residual dentinal chips and tissue remnants with irrigant and facilitates their easy removal
Biofilm Disruption: Ultrasonic cavitation disrupts the biofilm and helps to reduce bacteria load in the canal
Cleaning of Complex Anatomy: Ultrasonic activation helps irrigants to flush into undetected or un-instrumented canal anatomy like an isthmus, fins, lateral canals, apical ramification, etc. Also helps to remove vapour lock.
ADVANTAGES:
Ultrasonic irrigation efficiently remove residuals with 40 KHz high frequency ultrasonic vibration the flushing can reach 3mm under the top end of irrigation tip under the action of acoustic streaming and the chemical residue in root canal be well cleaned.

Direction to use
Prepare the root canal to the desired taper
Fill the final rinse solution into the canal
Select an activator tip that fits passively when placed 2-3mm short of working length
Agitate the solution using short vertical strokes for around 30 seconds. Be careful to not breach the apical 2mm
Replenish the irrigant, use suction to remove loose debris
Repeat the agitation and replenishment cycle 4-5 times
Use a side-vented needle to inject the final rinse solution into the canal
Cover the device with a protective sleeve to avoid surface damages.
